On Tuesday, 3 June 2014, Schoups organised a client seminar entitled "The Awarding of public procurement contracts".
 
After an introduction by Marco Schoups, Myriam Lahbib and Virginie Monteyne-Jadoul from our Public Procurements practice group gave a brief and practice-oriented explanation in French about the awarding of public procurement contracts.
 
The following 11 must knows were addressed:

2.     The negotiated procedure
3.     The competitive dialogue
4.     Framework agreements
5.     Variants
6.     Options
7.     Dividing the contract into lots and fixed / conditional parts
8.     Drafting of tenders: contradiction between the plans and the specifications
9.     Examination of tenders
10.   Abnormal prices
11.   Changes during the award procedure
 
The seminar was held at Château Sainte Anne in Brussels, and a Q&A session was held after the presentation.
